Move Message to a Remote Mailbox Folder
The Move Message to a Remote Mailbox Folder action moves or modifies messages in Remote Mailbox folders. Use this action to organize processed messages by moving them to a folder or marking them read or unread.
When to Use This Action
Use this action when:
- You want to file processed emails into organized folders automatically
- You need to mark messages as read or unread as part of your workflow
- You archive emails after creating tickets or taking other actions
This action works only in Remote Mailbox workflows. It supports both IMAP and Microsoft 365 connections.
Configuration
Move Message

Returned Variables
This action does not return any variables.
Notes
- For IMAP connections, the action queues modifications for the next polling cycle.
- For Microsoft 365 connections, the action uses Microsoft Graph for immediate modification.
- Some mail servers treat folder names as case-sensitive.
